anybody know of a really good shop that sells sleep bras for a good price
preferably one that will be ok for night feeds too
also are washable breast pads worthwhile as im only 6 months pregnant and already using disposable ones

No help on the bras, but I used washable breast pads alot. Once the milk flow had settled, they were great. Got through boxes of disposables while I had enough milk for a small town though!!

I've brought all mine from mothercare.com, they sell sleep bras in packs of two for a reasonable price but don't buy nursing type bras until your preferably 38 weeks. I find disposable ones fine for pregnancy but when my milk came in I needed nipple shells as well. If your using them alot then washable ones are much better though.

Rigby & Pellar are good for bras and they'll post them out free of charge. Not sure if that fits your 'good price' though.

At the risk of telling you something you know - do be a bit careful with the breast pads as they can create the ideal environment for thrush - not fun believe me! remember to change them frequently - especially the washable ones.

On the bra front (excuse the pun!!) it depends what size you are... I've a small back and large cup size and find the Barvado bra comfortable for sleeping, but it gives precious little support. Others like it as it's a sport-bra style so has no catches.

Have found the only bras that really fit OK for me, and give 'some' support, are the Royce bras. You can get these from Bravissimo and there about £21 each and have a drop front for breastfeeding that can use with one hand. This is a good price for me as I'm used to having to pay £35 to get bras in my size, but may seem a bit pricey.

Lots of mumsnetters talk about the Godess. It looks prretty horrific, but it doesn't come in a large enough cup size for me, so can't comment on support/comfort.

If you need any other info, let me know....

John Lewis are pretty good as they'll measure you but as Bekki says, they'll only do this from 38 weeks for feeding bras. Which I think's is a bit silly. I haven't changed size now since about 20 weeks

I just found a nursing bra (sports type in grey or white) at jojomamanbebe.com, reasonable price and they say its suitable as a sleep bra too - but I can't vouch for it as I haven't got mine yet..

John Lewis do a good, soft Emma Jane bra that is vaguely sports-bra styled but does up like an ordinary bra. It's not sold as a sleep bra, but I slept in them for about 6 months and found them v comfortable. They're also cheap (as maternity bras go). I tried a sleep bra from the NCT catalogue, which was basically a sort of croptop with about 6 hooks doing up the front, but didn't find it particularly comfortable.
