Did anyone with children already use the bounty portrait service in hospital?

Was it any good? Worth it? Nice pics? I just got a promotional email from them so was wondering.

I did. DD looked beautiful Smile cant remember how much the set cost maybe £40? the pictures were done in hospital and arrived when DD was about 2 weeks old.

I haven't, but I also recieved the email (due in a couple of days) so am keen to hear people's views.

Do you have to pay in hospital or just sign up and then order online?

I got lovely ones and a big one with weighing scales at the end with his weight and name at the top all lovly and well pleased, even the little photos to send to friends annoucing the birth, well worth it

I have with previous children. Was very happy with results. Don't think it was cheap, but worth it :)

They took DS's photo. I was really looking forward to it and I found the price for the packages very good. Unfortunately the photo turned out awful and I couldn't bear to keep it. I was really disappointed as I remember getting the little photos of my brothers when they were born from the pack.

Wasn't Bounty's fault, just wasn't a great picture of DS and looked nothing like him.

My photo was horrible.Woman was very pushy and called me for weeks afterwards. Probably just a bad experience though as have seen some lovely ones.

I was so frazzled from the birth that I thought it was a medical photo! The Bounty woman barged into my cubicle well before any MW came, following my transfer from the labour ward.

I'm quite pleased with the photo. If nothing else it is a nice memory of how very alert DD was on the morning she was born. IIRC if I didn't like the photos I could just send them back and not pay anything.

I am vehemently against Bounty photographers even being present on labour wards, waltzing around like they own the place and preying on vulnerable mothers.

I told the Bounty lady three times to go away.

I got mine every time. They were ok but not really necessary.

I had to get DD3 done in black and white as she was so blue and bruised she looked like she had passed away :(
