Achey under bump?

I've got a feeling I've done too much, such as lifting my 3 year old DD. Am I right? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Had a hellish night the other night when I turned over in bed - had a stabbing pain when I turned over in bed followed by all day acheyness the next day.

Pregnancy really softens your ligaments and makes it really easy to strain yourself - I would be really careful when lifting anything!!

I have aches under bump every day on the walk to school pushing pushchair. It's ok if I go really slowly. But we never leave on time.
And pulled shoulder lifting 15 month ds. Really hard to manage everything and look after yourself.

Don't know what the answer is.

I hav a huge fat choc labrador and 2 weeks ago she tried to jump on top of my other dogs dinner...I grabbed her collar and pulled her to my side and nearly died when a muscle/ligament under my bump went PING and was agony until about 2 days ago. Its so easy to hurt yourself muscle-wise.

I had an ache right down low (sort of just above my pubic hair, but inside) and asked my pregnancy yoga teacher about it.

She said there are some ligaments down there that stretch in pregnancy, so it is pretty normal. However, she did also warn me to keep an eye on it in case it is a Urinary Tract Infection, as they can make the bladder sore.

But mine cleared up within a 24 hours, so I'm putting it down to 'stretchy growing pains'.

I had the same and went to see my doctor, she said it was just the muscles stretching and to expect the pain on and off throught the pregnancy

Thanks for the replies. My dh has been away this week and I suspect I've done a bit too much - lifting the kids in and out of the bath etc. He's back now, so I'll make sure I get a rest Smile.
