Raspberry leaf tea (sorry!) safe for vbac?

Hi there

So, I believe raspberry leaf tea can be useful in making contractions more efficient, but is it safe for a vbac? I am hoping to have one, I am nearly 36 weeks but don't want to increase the risk of rupture, obviously, so does anyone know if it is ok, or best to avoid? Thank you!

Watching, as when I had my first (nearly 13 yrs ago) I was told to start drinking this at 28 weeks, I know they say a lot later than that now - but when?

I was told it works by helping your cervix to efface (but not dilate) so that the 1st stage contractions are more efficient at getting the cervix up and out of the way.

Can't see why that would be a problem, but probably better to check with your MW to be sure.

Yeh i've just heard it tones and helps make contractions more stronger, also helps to heal quick so i would of thouht it would of been safe to take either way. I started drinking the rea at 35 weeks and taking tablets at 36 weeks too.
