Anyone know what this stretch mark rub might be?

It was mentioned on the Archers but if it's real I want to find it. They said it was new and "all natural, really light and not greasy". Sounds amazing. Any ideas? Will see if I can find the podcast too for more info...

I don't know, but I want it too! I tried Vaseline Cocoa Butter Oil last night and it was like glue - didn't seem to sink in at all, got all over the sheets and made every single crumb or hair stick to me. I'm going to have to change the sheets tonight and with hindsight, I should just have gone and had a shower instead of trying to sleep covered in the stuff.

I've tried normal cocoa butter and it wasn't nearly as sticky, and I got some Boots Stretch Mark Oil (not sure that's the exact name, but it's similar) which seemed good but didn't smell great. I thought it smelt like chewed grass with an undertone of chip fat, but I would rather smell like that than stick to the bed all night.

By the way, I'm only 23 weeks so I don't know yet if these will actually have any effect - I'm going solely on how they feel to apply!

No idea what was mentioned on the radio, but I've been using Dr Hauschka Lavender body oil. It smells great and is soothing when the skin gets itchy.
It can be a bit greasy, but if you then use body lotion over the top it seems to seal it in.
I have no idea if it's working (cos I have so many stretch marks from first DS...) but it feels luxurious. Anything with cocoa butter in it stinks, in my opinion... :)

Mama Mio Tummy Rub?
It is amazing regardless if it is the right one! :)

I use olive oil as I am so sensitive to fragrance at the moment I can't use anything with perfume in like Bio oil (actually don't want to either). I did it in my last pregnancy too and it worked for me... but stretch marks are genetic ultimately so don't be upset if you get them whatever you do.

Well generally it doesn't matter if your goal is avoiding stretchmarks. No cream will get to the part of the skin that stretches and tears. You get them or you don't according to genetics.

But I did find there were creams that helped with the itch and discomfort of expanding. I had a stick from the body shop which was cocoa butter and a boots neroli one. Both were lovely and soothing.

Maybe it was Phytaoil? Seen it mentioned on here and I think it is pretty new. They sell it in organic-type shops so would fit the "all natural" part.

Oh I was going to suggest it might be the Mama Mio one as well, sounds like it to me...

Interesting stuff... thanks all. I don't much fancy smelling like a chip shop so will pass on the olive oil! Mama Mio and Phytaoil both sound good though so I will look into those. bigsarahj have you actually tried Phytaoil? Is it any good?
