heart burn

Please does anyone have any tips advice? I woke up yesterday to terrible heartburn, had to get up out of bed because it was making me sick, takes my breath away sometimes and seems to be here constantly! I've been taking peptapic (sp) medicine from midwife but you can only take it 4 times a day - crap when you have it constantly :(

I've avoided fruit juices, fizzy pop, chocolate etc and i've been drinking milk but no help!!

I do have a trace of protein in my urine - mw said nothing to worry about. Also had swelling hands and feet, mw checked me over said bp was fine. So i dont know :s

Well if it comes & goes, that sounds like heartburn. Which while it sux, is far better than epigastric pain!

I just, at 37 weeks, was prescribed Omeprazole - total miracle cure. Have suffered for many weeks with lack of sleep, anaemia down to not being able to eat properly - total nightmare.

Go and see the GP earlier than I did! x
