I thought this might be you!

Congratulations Grin

I have two boys and they have always been very affectionate and cuddly. (Well, until they reached that tall and gangly stage - although DS2 who is 15 will still give me a cuddle if I ask!)

PussinJimmyChoos · 02/11/2010 16:29

Oooh fab Misdee! Congrats!

If I have girl, we should do a clothes swop! Mind you, am in two minds about finding out

How exciting! Finally Peter will have someone to blame for leaving the loo seat up Grin

Hows your sickness?

jellybeans · 02/11/2010 16:30

congrats!!
I actually prefer boys clothes...I have 2 DDs, 3 DSs. I love M&Co, Sainsburys, Next, and anywhere really. I was terrified with my first DSs (twins) after two girls but once they arrived I loved it and felt a natural mum of boys (had no brothers so it was very new!!) You will love it :)

JustKeepSparkling · 02/11/2010 16:33

Yey & congratulations! Grin

Boden & John Lewis both do good boys stuff but yes, generally choice is limited.

When are you due? (sure i missed any pg announcement)

misdee · 02/11/2010 16:38

i am due just after xmas :)

sickness is awful still. so at least i know now its has nothing to do gender lol.

Misdee, how exciting!
Did you have any clue, have you felt any different this pregnancy? Only asking because I have 3 girls and currently expecting 4th, assume/convinced another girl but could be proved wrong!!

belgo · 02/11/2010 16:41

Congratulations! Have you got a name picked?

buttonmoon78 · 02/11/2010 16:42

I had a boy after 2 girls. He's now 3 and when he was tiny Next was great - lots of beige and red, not so much blue.

Oh, and the weeing thing? Never happened. Not even once!

misdee · 02/11/2010 16:43

i feel exactly the same as i did with the girls. am carrying the same as well. so no clue at all.

i asked the lady to double check and she pointed out tescticales and a penis. so def a boy.

WOW

Congrats!

My first thought was 'well now she'll have to keep going till she gives him a brother!'

BecauseImWorthIt · 02/11/2010 16:52

Concur re lack of choice of clothes - day to day it's not that much of an issue, but buying formal/smart clothes for boys can be really difficult whereas it's never hard to find something pretty for girls.

sweetkitty · 02/11/2010 21:10

DH kept asking the monographer if she was sure, I don't think we believed it until we saw him.

He's just lovely but his bodily functions leave a lit to be desired, so different to the girls, he farts liars, poos and pees loads, I got peed on this morning, he's sick a lot and a complete gannet, he's a big chunky boy a shock after 3 dainty girls.

LadyInPink · 02/11/2010 21:56

Was hoping you would have popped back on the other thread to tell us your amazing news!

Congratulations - that's marvellous news and like i said before you will get so much boy's stuff as presents you needn't worry about him in a pink sleepsuit! Smile

misdee · 03/11/2010 10:57

i went through the box of baby stuff, and only had 4 items which were girly anyway. so all sorted :)

Congratulations :). I have a 3 month old boy after having 3 girls. Its like he has 4 mums, they love him to bits!

SecretNutellaFix · 03/11/2010 15:47

Congratulations.

mears · 07/11/2010 23:01

Congratulations Misdee. Be prepared for all the "that's you got your boy now" comments. I had a girl after 3 boys and got really sick of people saying that type of thing to me as if I only kept having babies to have a girl. I was delighted to have a girl but I would have been equally happy with another boy :)
