Is it more to mum, ie her ligaments are all stretched out anyway, shes likely to pull something. Or to baby?

I just lifted something really heavy without realising it would weigh that much (bottom fell out of the box anyway so it was only for a second and Ive felt baby move since)

But just wondering?

Mostly to Mum afaik.

I thought that too (just needed a bit of MN reassurance!) and my little kicker is still booting away! Smile

yes, mostly to mum. Very easy to hurt yourself when pg

I thought all that not lifting stuff was for wimps... Blush I lifted something I shouldn't have and pulled a ligament attached to one of the discs in my back... According to the physio I was really lucky not to slip it completely... Shock

be careful! Smile

Ba8y1 · 02/11/2010 18:52

I have to lift my 2 1/2 stone toddler all the time and I'm pregnant with twins. I now have quite a lot of pain in the muscles of my stomach and have had to stop lifting her whenever possible. But the babies are fine and growing and growing...
