Hi mummyworries - It's completely normal to worry during your pregnancy. This time, you could perhaps be worried about the birth....as you know what's coming (although all births are obv different).

Personally, I was worried about my PFB, who I figured could be left without a mummy if anything went wrong. I got a bit panicked by it; having awful thoughts/dreams about me dying in labour etc (not trying to put my fears on you) but it's normal to worry like that. I remember, I wrote and rewrote lists and lists of foods/menus for DD whilst I was in hospital (I was only in for a night), in case DH didn't know what to give her. It was silly things I was worrying about. I didn't actually worry about the pregnancy itself though, which it seems you are doing?

You have taken care of your first child for 4 years and you are probably worried about how your second baby will effect the family dynamics.

What sort of things are you worried about?

well in the last year i have had a miscarriage followed by two ectopics which on the second one they took out my tube.so i was very lucky to fall agian so quickly!!!so everything that seems to happen in this pregnancy i feel im never gonna get there without it being taken away agian,if that makes sense?! even though im past the danger area i suppose its just it doesnt feel real in a way not, until i hold her. i just constantly worry that something will go wrong but its helped looking at things on here to see im not alone x

That's so hard for you mummyworries. You've been through so much so it's no wonder you're feeling so worried. Your midwife checks (and you can ask for more regular ones I think with your history) should stop any worries you have. If they had any concerns, they would take you in to be monitored.

Your 20 week scan would have shown anything out of the ordinary and you're now well into the pregnancy.

I really hope things go smoothly for you - you deserve it Smile
