...did you wait before getting pregnant again after PFB?

I'm not going back to work and with DD now 8 months, am wondering if we should just crack on, or hold out a bit more and see if i feel less knackered at some point first!!

Any thoughts on the best age gaps?

Cannot believe I'm already thinking about this again!

My son is 4 months old and we will start trying within the next 6 weeks or so. I had an emcs so was asked to wait 6 months, else we'd have started sooner. We plan on 3 under 4!

Felicity I am expecting DC2 and got pregnant when DS was 7 months old! I was exclusively BFing at the time, never going longer than 4 hours (max max max). It had taken a while to conceive DS and so we weren't being careful as such, but ddn't really think we needed to! Similar to you though, in that we decided I would stay off while we had little children, and then try and resurrect a career in a few years so we wanted a small age gap.

We decided that no matter how long we left, it was always going to be hard work & we would always have the bit where we were knackered! Also, the closer together you can have them, the quicker the pooey-nappy bit would be over & done with!

We started trying again when DD was 6months old, had a couple of MC, but after just over a year of trying I am now 15wks, so there will be 2.5yrs between them.

Well there is just under 10 years between mine so maybe not much help lol. They probably won't play much together but I will have a helping hand.

Had Daughter when I was 23. Son was born when she was 3.5yrs. 3rd Child is due around son's 4th birthday. I wanted slightly bigger age gaps to try to prevent jealousy and fighting between them. So far it seems to have worked! :)
