Please let me know if you got extra skin overhang/apron on top of your Cesarean Section scar? Yes or No?

Hello all of you who had an elective or emergency section. I will have a discussion with consultant this week and just want to get a realistic idea of what to expect about the extra skin overhang and want to understand the reality from your side (actual patient's/mom's side). Is the overhang unavoidable and always coupled with CS? Did you get it? Thanks xoxox

Yes, I have a very attractive overhang. I am overweight too. Although my sisterhad a cs, isn't overweight and still has an overhang.

No overhang from either of my 2 ELCS. Am not overweight and only put on around a stone with each.

Have had both EMCS and ELCS and no overhang here either!

I got a smallish overhang and was quite slim when I had my cs. Also have done a lot of exercise and have good stomach muscles. Doesn't seem to help.

None whatsoever. Have trouble even finding my scar.

Yes, mine is dreadful-always had a little pot belly though even when I was a very skinny size 8. Scars are really horrible too-lumpy and pink/red. Glad to have the apron to cover them up Grin

Yes. Definitely an overhang. Not nice.
