Breech baby?

I am 26+4 with dc4. From the very start, I have felt the baby 'low down', which was confirmed as feet down by MW at 16 wk check. I know for sure at the moment that baby is (and has been ALL the way through) feet down at the botom, kicking me very low down, bum sort of in the middle of my tummy, and head up by my ribs.

Background : DD (dc1) was transverse literally ALL the way through, was trned by ECV whilst I was in labour. DS1 & DS2 were both head down all the way through. I am very a bit out of proportion, and have a very small 'middle', and find that my babies get 'stuck' very early on, by 22 weeks-ish.

The consultant ('s underling? don't know proper phrase) didn't seem concerned by the position, just that baby seemed 'quite large' for dates. When I saw him at 24 weeks, I was measuring 28 weeks. Am sure of dates, had MMC just before falling pg with this one, and had 5 scans by 22 weeks.

However, the more time that passes with baby still being 'upside down', the more concerned I am getting that he won't move, will be footling breech, and very large as well. Not due to see MW again for another 2 weeks. Would they still try ECV if baby was brech rather than transverse (DD's ECV was done almost 13 yrs ago) and if baby is large?

I know everyone keeps telling me it's too early to be worried about it, but TBH, I know my body and I know baby is already 'stuck' as he's been feet down since ((at least) 16 weeks. What is the likelyhood of ECV (if they'll do it) working, and what is the likelyhood of me needing a c-section if he is a large fotling breech?

Sorry it's so long!

Yes they can turn breech babies at a very late date. I had two at 38 weeks and they were both successful. Apparently they are very successful in subsequent pregnancies but not so in first ones.

I should have said that my babies were 9lb and 9lb 9oz.

So it is possible that they could turn him. That makes me feel a bit easier about it, as the only people I know that have had footling breech babies have had either ELCS or ended up having an EMCS. My last baby was 8lb2oz, and had to be ventoused out, I was told I barely managed to get him out, and I know that this baby is already larger than he was at the same stage, would that have any bearing on it?

I had my last turned by ECV at about 38 weeks. He was 9lb5 lb at birth. Theybwomt Domitian earlier I'm case theybturn back and there is a small chance it starts labour or they need to do a cs
