Bit of blood - 24 weeks

Just been to the loo (sorry, tmi) and there was a tiny bit of blood, red with a tiny bit of clot in it. There was no more after that.

I've had a busy day, so don't know if I should just put it down to that and take it easy, but I really don't know if I should be ringing the mw or not.

Please come and tell me what to do. :(

Ring the midwife, it's probably fine, but do it anyway.

Hi, I am 24 weeks also and if this happened to me I would ring the midwife asap just to be sure.

It is probably nothing but best to get checked out Grin

I had exactly the same, just a little bit each day for three days. It was after I had done a lot of driving and walking one weekend. I rang midwives, they said nothing to worry about - give yours a ring though.

Yes get it checked. It's probably fine especially if the baby is moving as usual but any bleeding should be checked out.

I had this at 26 weeks - phoned mw, she said to go to antenatal assessment unit at hosp. They monitored baby for a couple of hours, all was completely fine, and did an internal - I had (possibly still have) a cervical erosion, v common in pregnancy and harmless. She said it was nothing to worry about but it might bleed again (now 38 weeks and it hasn't). I felt really reassured - def ring them if you are worried, they would always rather you phoned than sat at home panicking.

Thankyou :)
Going to see mw tomorrow.
There's been no more, so fingers crossed it's all ok!

I had this a bit between 16-20 weeks, one time was quite a large clot. They couldn't find anything wrong, and it just stopped happening.
