Hi - 25 weeks pregnant and have been suffering from being out of breath easily - seen doc on Monday who is testing my thyroid as I do take thyroxin for underactive thyroid and although not anaemic my FBC was low for me so are re testing - Problem I have is I suffer with ectopic heart beats which were investigated 2 years ago and all was ok although they never picked them up- had 72 hour ECG, Stress test and ultra sound of heart - Since being pregnant they are so much worse, which I expected by last night and all day today my heart beat seems different really irregular not the usual pause and then double beat, seems all over the place - Have an ECG booked for Friday, but wondering if I should go to hospital as it is scaring me and I am feeling worried - What do you think?

Worrying about it is going to make you feel worse. See someone, even if it's only to put your mind at rest. Good luck, hope everything is ok.

I don't know anything about ectopic heartbeats, but if you're worried, go and get it checked out as soon as you can. :)

If I were you I would definitely go to the hospital as there is no point worrying about it. If anything it will make you feel even worse.

In any case, try not to wind yourself up. It is perfectly normal to be out of breath during pregnancy.

Best of luck and hope all goes well.
X
