9 weeks and no sickness, should I be worried?

Hiya, I'm 9+1 at the moment and also have a nine year old DD. When I was p/g with dd I had dreadful sickness the whole way through, which wasn't much fun of course and meant I found the pregnancy quite tough.

This time, while I have felt very slightly queasy if I'm hungry, I've had no sickness at all, and as I had a m/c in Feb I'm a bit worried that this is a bad sign as someone told me that sickness is actually a sign things are developing ok?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but is it normal to have completely different symptoms with different pregnancies? I think I just assumed that I was susceptible to sickness and that was just me... while I'm v glad to not have any so far on one hand, I'm a bit worried on the other, there's just no pleasing some people is there lol!

Nope I had no sickness at all and DD was born on due date very healthy.

Regarding different pregnancies my lovely friend who has 4 dc's said she had totally different pregnancies for each one, and a totally different baby at the end of it.

Maybe you're having a boy this time Grin

Anyway congrats on your news

I was sick as a dog with dc2 and 3, but this time have had vague nausea when I'm tired and that's it.
Try not to worry :)

Thanks for replies and reassurance, and lol @ Bertie.. that's exactly what my sister said too, so perhaps I am!

All good signs apart from the lack of sickness so maybe just lucky this time then...(fingers and toes crossed!!) Grin

Nope! Enjoy the reprieve - sounds like you have earned it! Although I know it's so hard not to worry. Like you, I had slight nausea when I got hungry, but otherwise no sickness at all. And like, I scared myself silly reading all these things that said that sickness and vomiting your guts out was a GOOD THING and meant you were having a healthy pregnancy. Am 40 weeks today and kiddo is absolutely fine Grin. This is DC1 so have nothing to compare it to, but my friend had dreadful hyperemesis with her DC1 - hospitalised with dehydration and everything. And then her second pregnancy (also a girl) she was fine - no nausea, no nothing. Good luck and congratulations! X

Oh I am so glad to read I am not alone. I had truly dreadful MS with both my dc's right up until 24 wks. And I mean dreadful!! In between my kids I was pg and had no MS at all. I was so relieved! Then at 7w 1d I miscarried. So, here I am at 5w 5d & have no MS signs again :-( I have huge tender boobs, elevated post ov temps, 3+ showin on a cb digi on Friday & no spotting whatsoever....so why cant I shake this feeling that something is not right. I haven't even registered my pregnancy yet as am so convinced I am going to misc again. Sorry for such a miserable post but its getting me down. The replies have given me a little bit of hope though so fingers crossed. Wishing you the best of luck with your pregnancy :-)
