Hi everyone

I need some advice, hope you can help me?

I'm about 33 weeks pregnant and want to continue my antics with my fella, but I'm not sure how I'm meant to? It feels a bit awkward, we used to get up to all sorts Grin - what positions work for you?

I'm a bit nervous as I'm not sure he's that interested in me in this state, any tips for 'seduction' as well? Difficult as a pregnant girlie innit? Blush

sat at work actually laughing out loud at this thread. Then when I read lou19s post that says "Personally I have found spoons the only practical..." I was thinking, well a banana is one thing, but how on earth can you use a spoon.... Hmm Blush

Pregnancy brain definitely affecting me!

I feel inadequate. DH and I haven't had sex since... since... well it's been at least three months. There has been oral, but only about once a fortnight and we haven't even got the excuse of other DC as this is our first, 30+4. (Slinks off to consider feng shui of bedroom)

Funny you should mention spoons. Days before I gave birth I was desperate to get the baby out and it's well known that sex can bring on labor however my husband found it hard to climax inside me (due to the enlarged vagina I mentioned earlier) so in my desperation I would get him to ejaculate on a spoon and insert it into me.

It wasn't the most enjoyable experience for both of us and put my husband off yoghurts for a month.

omg TrishPio that is so funny! am actually laughing out loud at the thought of it. You really were desperate to get that baby out!

Er, I thought the reason sex could bring on labour was the vigorous activity rather than the semen..?

Also lmao at this thread.

Laughing out loud! Especially at Lulabel's comment!

Mostly spooning or... standing up and bending over although you need something to hold on to. My hubbie says he finds my vagina too big anyway (this is baby number 3) and I'm wondering if there is some kind of surgery I can have after baby 3? Have done lots of kegels.

Daisy17 · 25/09/2010 08:28

Oh Comtessa, don't worry, each to their own! I've just felt so nauseous and knackered that bedroom activity has pretty much ceased at the mo, but we keep talking, and DP knows I would be happy to, erm, help him out, as it were. We just cuddle a lot, and talk about the baby and how lovely it will be to be a family and this feels very close and intimate too. Smile

No Ryuk, semen contains a high concentration of prostaglandins which help to soften the neck of the womb and can trigger labor. It makes no difference whether it comes from a penis or a spoon so long as it's fresh and it goes in deep enough.
