Did anyone have a 'feeling' about the sex from early on? So far as only picking boys names or only looking at girls clothes?

From about 6 weeks I've felt this was a boy.

It doesn't feel like a hunch, it just feels like he is.

For example, I find myself looking at boys names, looking at boy bundles on ebay and skipping through the next directory straight to the blue baby stuff.

I accept I may be wrong but I feel like I'm 95% right!

Did anyone else have this? and were you right?

PS, its not a case of me wanting a son, I already have 2 (and 1 DD) so I don't think its anything like that!

I was convinced dd2 was a boy. No idea with dd1 & dc3 I keep swapping.

I was always sure he was a boy, started buying boy clothes (that I pretended were neutral) at 12 weeks, referred to him as 'he' from the outset, had names down to 2 choices, didn't bother with girls - it was confirmed at the 20 week scan that he was a boy.

Once the sonographer has confirmed, that's pretty much a done deal, isn't it? I mean, there's no way they could get it wrong at 20+6, is there?

I just can't imagine him being anything other than my wriggling kicking baby boy.

Miffster, I'd like to say yes but a mum at scholl was told she was definatly having a girl at her 20 week scan, she decorated the room pink and bought ALL pink stuff, she had a boy!!

I was hoping for a girl and thought she was.

Was confirmed at my 20 week scan.

Tell people that if she had been a boy then he would still be wearing the pink booties I had bought! :o

I had three separate dreams in early pregnancy that I was having a boy.

In one of them my Grandma who died when I was 9 yo told me I was having a boy...

At the 20 week scan I was told I was having a girl.

At 39.6 weeks my DS was born. Yes I was right, a boy, sonographer was wrong!!!

Luckily nursery was yellow - just in case

I was coninced dc1 would be a girl ... and she was!

I think this baby will baby will a boy ... we will find out in 6 weeks!
