Genuine question...
I am 32 weeks pg with DC1, and I just feel knackered practically all the time.

I am wondering if my age is something to do with it - 40 in a few days, also huge fibroid means I have suffered from palpitations, heartburn and just the general hefting my bump around means even turning over in bed or standing to cook dinner is a huge effort.

I am due to have a planned C-section and I just can't imagine being even more tired than this when my DS arrives. Or am I just being extremely naive...?

DC4 (now 7 weeks) is so much easier to deal with out than in! Late pregnancy absolutely awlful in my case - no health probs just felt like shite constantly Grin and I am delighted that I will NEVER have to go through that again.

Even from the first sleep deprived night, I have been smiling and still am even though he still feeds every 2/3 hours and I am totally knackered. Definitely agree that adrenaline kicks in and keeps you going.

My dad prescribed me some Ranatidine tablets which reduces acid production and really helps the heartburn, as I forgot it when DP and I went away for a few days and would wake up in the night feeling like someone was pouring burning acid down my throat!

also, preghead i was seriously thinking about whether i could have a little portaloo in the bedroom as our loo is downstairs and by 4am I am almost asleep sitting on it and am terrified of falling downstairs in a sleep deprived haze!
