Can anyone help!!!

I'm 28 wks pregnant with my 3rd child, dd only 21mths old so think tummy muscles just given up the ghost this time. Bump is VERY, VERY low, feels like I have a 12lb bowling ball sitting on my bladder, very uncomfortable.

Struggling find something to wear for work for these last 10 weeks, under-bump stuff or anything with a false waistband are too uncomfortable, looking for something that may give my lower back a bit of support and stop it feeling like my ds2 is going to drop out any minute. Have to be reasonably smartly dressed, so can't wear my lovely comfy joggers :(

Any ideas........PLEASE!!!!

I would stay away from trousers then and keep wearing empire line dresses with leggings/tights. You don't have to worry to much about the size as if they are baggy enough they will last until the end (or near).

I am 27 weeks and have to dress quite smart for work too. Seraphine.com has some cute work dresses. Take a look.

Best of luck!

Try the carriwell belly bra or their support belt? Or a lumbar support belt?

Marlie09, I also have a low lying bowling ball! I totally sympathise with your bladder woes too. I wear a support belt for SPD along with a lovely roll of tubi-grip, but it does also help to hold everything togther and up a bit. I got mine from my physio but Mothercare sell fairly sturdy looking belts. Don't go for their lightweight, cotton one though - it's rubbish. I agree with Zahara1 that dresses and leggings are the most comfortable, particularly if you decide to go with a belt.

They are a bit expensive, but Mamas and Papas are doing some really nice dresses at the moment. I had to be reasonably smart for teaching and I got my work clothes from M&P, Redherring in Debenhams, Mothercare and Next.

I bought a size 10 Boden dress in the sale, which I can easily wear now (34 weeks). It's their jersey material, gathered under boobs and really comfy -would definitely be suitable for work with some maternity tights.

Have just been on the net and ordered myself a nice jersey frock and an M+S maternity skirt with the soft roll down waist band (just like my lovely joggers).

Never thought of leggings, never been much a leggings person but if they're comfy I'll give em a go.

Will certainly have a look out for a support belt. Sounds like a marvellous idea :)

Marlie09, if you like the roll top, Mothercare do a black jersey skirt with a roll top. I bought one for work and it is the most blissfully comfortable thing ever made!
