Pregnant and Tall - why are there no trousers?

This could easily be on the AIBU thread.

Is it unreasonable to be both pregnant and tall. I can get normal long length trousers and I can get pregnancy trousers but the pregnancy trousers stop half way up my shin!

I've been forced to come over all girlie with skirts and dresses instead. Does anyone have any recommendations. I am 5'11'' so tall but not a complete giant!

New Look do 34 inch leg maternity jeans, £16 a pair. I got mine online.

Dorothy perkins are your best bet. They do a long in maternity but you do have to order them online and pay a delivery charge - but you can take them back in store if you wish.

I always wear a long since I like my heals and even without heals normal are only borderline ok. I ended up with a regular leg though because I needed them then and didn't have time to order some. I had to buy some flat (really flat) shoes to go with them but on the bright side my flat shoes (sketchers shoes so feel more like trainers) have been amazingly comfortable for work.

Firstly resign yourself to only shopping online for maternity stuff (35" inside leg here). BUT Next do both long and extra long maternity trousers and jeans, as does Topshop.

If you decide to go for dresses and tights and boots then avoid Next tights like the plague, they roll down yur bump and give a terrible nora batty look. Mothercare do fab coloured ones and Dorothy Perkins ones also quite good.

Happy shopping!

Asda are also good for their long length, currently have black trousers and black jeans after dh went and pleaded with a sales assistant to help him find anything in my size and long! I'm 5' 10" by the way and need 34" leg

I bought some black straight leg maternity jeans from H&M and they are really long. I'm 5'6" and they are too long by several inches. They look great though, and keep their shape well!

I am 5'10 with endless legs :o

I got my maternity trousers from H&M - they were the only ones I found long enough...

I'm 5'11" and size 16-18 normally, and I'm in Next maternity black trousers today. I also have two pairs of their jeans that are fine. I can't remember if they do long leg length, but based on the ones I have, and what I know of Next leg lengths, these feel like long leg length.

I'm the same height - Next, Dorothy Perkins and Debenhams (Red Herring I think) worked for me.

All cheap as chips too!
