Bouncy chairs

Hi all,

This is the bouncy chair we have decided to go for. Cheap and we have john lewis vouchers so efectively free! Does it matter that it doesn't have a 'newborn head support' attached?

Thanks

Let's start a new thread - what did you buy or get given and, on reflection, never want, use or need...

:)

We have been given a moses basket AND a swinging crib. Haven't had the baby yet (due October 14th) but know we would not have bought both. Yet to find out if we get the use out of both! .......

PS We are going to get the John Lewis OBaby chair that I first posted about!

we had a basic one for DD with no head rest. Cost £15 i think. As bigredtractor said, if they look uncomfy take them out. initially they might just be too small, but will soon grow into it.

bigredtractor - totally agree. The problem is though that some people's must have is another person's waste of money. For me it's nappy wrappers - hated it with a vengreance, it's still in the loft this time round. Moses baskets often crop up in both categories too I think...

Don't forget though, that the generation before our parents wouldn't have had any sort of chair as baby would be flat on his/her back in a pram at the bottomr of the garden for most of the day Grin.

Anyway, I digress, point me towards your new thread if you decide to start it.

NoTea - sounds like a good decision to me. It occurred to me that you could always fashion some sort of headsupport out of a rolled towel if you found you needed something to help with a small baby. For free!

Scuse any typos above BTW as DS has eschewed his overpriced bouncy chair this afternoon and is currently strapped to me in a sling Wink

There - done it. Now I'm sitting back to watch with a mischevious grin...!!

looks great! go for it

better than my garish fisher price one, ugh ugh

I agree that our parents had basic ones, but the BB one is the only one I've found that actually bounces like the old fashioned ones! The basic one we had from Mothercare never bounced at all and was rubbish. I don't know why they don't make bouncy basic ones these days!
