Most successful time to turn a breech!!

I'm 29wk & baby is still breech, if it's not turned by 36 weeks when I see my consultant then he's going to book me in for a csect (due to previous emer cs & thin uterus lining) He won't attempt to turn the baby. So when is the best time to try standing on my head to get it to turn???? Looked into moxibustion but can't have it if had a previous csect! I know if I try to encourage it to turn too early on it can turn back. Should I do try turning it at a time when the baby is active or should I just spend as much time as possible on all fours & what week of pg is most successful? Any other successful tips greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to add you little one still have plenty of time to turn I am 30 weeks at the mo with my 3rd little boy. My last little boy was breech until about 36 weeks (I had a scan at 30 he was breech another scan at 36 and he wasnt! This one is also breech at the mo my consultant isnt at all worried about it yet :)

ds2 turned himself at 35.4weeks. It was very uncomfortable and took hours of him wriggling and alien like angles sticking out of my compact bump. He then didn't move for over 24 hours, went to be monitored and they said he'd just worn himself out as heart trace etc was fine! I then had him another 2 days after that (though I still ended up with a c-section Angry )

If at 36 weeks baby hasn't turned so csect booked, if baby then turns between then & csect date can you still go for VBAC?? Or once it's in the diary is that it?? Or does it depend on your consultant??? Confused

my baby was in breach and turned at 36 weeks and then I gave birth 10 days later. If you get some moxa burn it on the end of your little toe.... that helps.... dont dispair...

My baby was transverse at 32 weeks and I did lots of inversions to turn him, at 36 week scan he was head down.

I would have thought as soon as possible. If you use the spinning babies website it says that the positions to turn the babies won't affect a head down baby so even if it does turn you can carry on doing them to keep the baby head down without worry of causing it to go back to breech.

Good luck, 29 weeks is quite early to worry they can still move a lot then.

I know it is early to worry about it, but my consultant was quite eager for me to have an elective csect but I stood my ground & said wanted to atleast try VBAC. My midwife has said from my notes there's no reason for me to not attempt a VBAC as long as I'm closely monitored. 2 different midwives have also agreed & said that my consultant likes to take the safe/planned/controlled route so I'm determined not to give him any reason to get the diary out!!
Thanks for all your advice, will be following the spinning website!
Can't burn Moxa as that's what moxibustion is & they've said it's not suitable if you've had previous csect!
