High body temperature normal?

I'm currently 12 weeks pg with 1st and to say I am constantly feeling very warm is an understatement. It seems to be worse at night and my poor DP says it's like sleeping next to a furnace!

I realise higher than normal body temp is par for the course during pregnancy, and I'm not exactly feeling feverish, clammy or nauseous. I am hottest on my palms (random?) and around my breasts and stomach.

I will ask the MW at my appointment on Monday about it but just wondered if anyone else is feeling the same?

As far as I know pregnancy speeds up your metabolic rate which does increase body temperature slightly. I feel hot all the time and am 36 weeks so don't expect it to stop anytime soon! My breast started getting hotter from around 20 weeks but then they are pretty busy too, preparing

I am hot all the time but am a lot further along than you. I think if you just feel generally hot all the time then that is normal. If you think you have a fever, then you should go to doctor because a high temperature in the first few months especially can be dangerous for the baby. Sounds like just general pregnancy overheating though, which is definitely par for the course, particularly later on as you get massive and swollen like I am!

Am 14+4 and my body temp has been a lot higher than normal and my DP has said, like yours, that sleeping next to me is like sleeping with a radiator. I also noticed that my boobs are actually significantly warmer to the touch than the rest of me. Its an odd sensation

Thanks ladies, sounds pretty normal then. I told DP to be grateful as at least we won't need to use an electric blanket come winter.
