Back/hip pain

Just looking for some tip on how to control back/hip pain.

I'm 25 weeks pg and really really sore and it's really putting a dampener on things, to say the least. Went out for a meal last night and walked fast for the bus (which we missed, grr!!) and now feel like have been run over by a bus! I really do feel awful.

Pain is in lower back, around my tailbone and between shoulders (although suspect it comes from hips). I have told midwife at last appointment, who has put in for an appointment to see a physiotherapist but she also said it could take up to two weeks for it to come through! Am struggling now though as have a 22 month old ds to run around after, not to mention all the day to day stuff.
Also, been googling it and am terrified it could be SPD!?! i do get the clicking in my hips and pain in pelvic bone Could this be where my back pain s coming from? Pregnany is measuring 3 weeks bigger than it should be - had a very large baby last time, so expected this time too.
I know, I know, don't google - but I am desperate for some info on how to soothe it!

Any advice/experience shared would be very happily recieved, thank you ladies

What you need to do is to take pressure of the joints, which your pregnancy hormones are loosening.

You should be able to get enough relief by doing certain exercises that will then enable you to conduct yourself fairly normally wehn you need to.

The main exercises are pelvic tilt/pelvic rocking for your hips, and 'angry cat' (going on your hands and knees and arching your back upwards) for back problems.

I remember in my various pregnancies having horrible pains thinking that that was it and they were only going to get worse up until delivery and beyond - but in fact, they were only temporary and cleared themselves after a week or so.

At your stage of pregnancy, your baby is growing really fast and it can take your body a little bit of adjustment to catch up.
