Ok so I have the free boots one and husband and I thought that would be fine which it is.

However its my 30th birthday in couple weeks 2wks before baby arrives (c-sec) and I have no idea what I want for present

but I have seen a radley bag that is a changing bag as well but its £75 (not that have a limit for bday pressie but is expensive for a changing bag)

and have also seen a holdall style bag which could use to go into hospital then as a changing bag in boots sale for £35 much more cost effecive.

what have other people done?

(other option for bday pressie was a sat nav!)

The pram I've ordered comes with a changing bag so I'm intending on using that one, although I was tempted by an Orla Keily change bag I saw in John Lewis, but managed to restrain myself!

I have 2 free boots bags (one got passed onto me full of baby clothes) and one that came with my travel system (really disappointing actually as it is just like a messenger bag, no pockets or change mat). I am still lusting after one I saw at Next, it's only £25, I think that's pretty good, mostly because it is really pretty and I think I could use it as a handbag as well .

I ordered a pacapod bag from amazon called "logan". It came a couple of weeks ago - it is absolutely fantastic, comes with different pockets and sections for everything you could possibly need, and clips onto any pram. It looks really nice too. I would highly recommend it.

I'm looking at the pacapod almora, anybody ever used one or seen one?! I love the idea of it!!

red direct sell the Almora, ive never seen one in "real life" but they look fab. In my experience a good changing bag is money very well spent you use it a LOT!

I didn't have a bag that i could use for myself when i started sorting out my hospital items so i bought a weekend (holdall style) bag from primark for £12, it's really pretty too.

And on the changing bag i spent £70 on a 'Pink Lining' bag from John Lewis, which has now arrived and is such good quality, i'm pleased that i spent the additional. The way i see it, i'll be using it daily for quite some time, so worth the extra, and the changing mat is padded and large. It has two internal bottle warmers and is the perfect size to carry the wipes, nappies, cream, muslin, change of clothes etc too.

Spend your money on a really nice ordinary bag (but big) that you will use post baby and then buy a cheap changing mat and internal bottle warmer to go in it.

Thanks will chat to husband tonight he may have come up with a surprise birthday present (i think not!!)

Maybe will ask him to get me the purple across body radley bag although have similar in black as birthday present

and then get me the boots one for hospital/baby

although do like the radley one and will always be a good sized bag for weekends away.
