Maternity bras - never have I been so uncomfortable!

Hello . I am 28 weeks pregnant and since the start back in February my chest has been steadily increasing in size - as expected. I've been to M&S a couple of times to be measured for bras and each time the ones I am encouraged feel comfy at the time but having worn them all day they don't seem to really fit. I'm a bit annoyed but mainly fed up that I'm not comfy in my clothes. Interestingly the advice I've been given varies wildly. Anyone know of somewhere else I can get measured where they are actually good? London or Kent sort of area. Thank you!

Cripes. I am wearing a 36B at the moment (although the wire escaped so its poss too snall), although in May was measured 32C but that was by debenhams. And the bra was v tight. Made me look good but wasnt comfortable! I will report back :)

I went to an M&S for a bra fitting the other day and they said that they 'were fully booked up for today but could fit me in later in the week' (I only want boobs measured not a cut and blowdry FFS).

I then went to Mothercare who fitted me with a non wired bra, which after a week gives me a monoboob look and doesn't give any support.

I have now taken to wearing a sports bra, it might be ugly but at least it fits, isn't underwired and keeps my boobs supported and in place.

Another recommendation for bravissimo from me. I'm a 28FF when not pregnant, have no idea what I am now as have had to suffer in ill-fitting bras for my entire pregnancy so far as am living in Chile where they have NO idea about this sort of thing.

The week i get back to London I am going straight to Bravissimo.

There's one just off regent street, north of oxford circus. Can't remember the name of the road but it's too the right as you walk away from oxford circus.

And there's one somewhere in covent garden that I always get lost looking for.

They're lovely in there.

Try the nursing bra shop www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk/

Being an online shop, they don't measure but have a fab range, including hotmilk and cake. Also, really good service.

ok, as promised. The results of my fitting at Bravissimo are...i am a 34F or 34FF if a plunge. She said i can wear wires as long as they aren't on the milk ducts and fitted with that and growth in mind. So i have room for more growth at the back and in the cup, yet it still fits well. Didnt buy as they didnt have the size in the one i liked. :) (i was a 36B!)
