has anyone got any good ideas.
Ds(3yrs) is virutally there with potty training but sometimes does forget for example when watching cbeebies etc etc. Would not be a problem but we recently finished a massive build here so dh is terrified of him leaking on the lovely oak floor in the living room, unreasonable I know but I am trying to keep the peace here.
So I thought of getting him some pants for those time. Looked at bright bots but review say they only hold little accidents.

Any ideas???

i would say not to i put these on my ds and he just kept weeing himself instead of attempting to use toilet

i would keep potty in whatever room he is in remind him potty is there and also remind him to wee if engrossed tell him to sit on potty and do a wee i still have to remind my ds he is 4.9 just make sure potty is where he is and also keep on top of it as he gets older he'll be more aware but will still need prompting if engrossed

I agree that is what I did with my dd but now this house is quite different and very nervous dh so need to do something of else to help keep all happy. I love the look of bright bots as he is dry most of the time with his pull ups but wanted something to make him feel a bit more of a bigger boy and less like his 8mth old brother.

Bright Bots training pants look quite like normal big boy pants, I use them when we're going to my friend's house as she's a bit precious about her carpet! They easily hold one wee (after 3 or 4 washes) so sound like they'd be perfect for you. Disposable pull-ups didn't work for us as DS just used them like a nappy but we didn't have that problem with the BB training pants.

PS They also contain poo better than normal pants!

thanks ziggy and others.

ziggy, are they a snug fit. I have quite a skinny 3yr old who hardly weighs anything so not sure what size to get.

he is a bit over 14kg so from this website it seems I should get large but then I think the waist will be too big??

They come up a bit smaller than the sizes suggest. My son is about 30lb but tall & skinny and the large is a snug fit on him. I think they shrink a bit in the wash as they fit him a lot better now than when he was first in them and he's not grown much since then!

thanks or replying ziggf just spoke to a woman at 'fill your pants' website and she was really helpful with ideas on sizes, have gone for large. She said if they were really not suitable I could change the size so can't go wrong with them then.

Oh if anyone else if looking at this thread they have 5 pairs of these for £18 with free delivery in Jan so that works out at 3.60 a pair. They were the cheapest multipack I saw but did not look too long.
