pull-up nappies versus Huggies Dry-Nites.What's the difference?

DS is 4.3 and wears ordinary pull-ups at night, e.g Huggies little Walkers, Pampers Easy-ups, Boots own etc. He's a deep sleeper and in the morning his pull-ups are always very full but not usually leaking. I was in Sainsburys today & needed more pull-ups but they didn't have ANY in size 6 (extra large). I don't mean they had run out, but that they actually didn't stock them (admittedly it was not a huge store.)

The only thing that might have done was the Huggies Dry-Nites age 4-7.

Is there much difference between these and ordinary pull-up nappies? I didn't buy them as I had the impression that they might be only for occasional wetness, and not designed to hold as much as a pull-up?

I'm not bothered about trying to get him dry yet as he wasn't dry during the day till this time last year and is not worried at all about wearing his 'night pants' (we don't call them nappies to him), but just wondering if there is good reason to swap to the Dry-Nites? Pull-up nappies are a lot cheaper!

imho they're better, hold more wet if they need to and fit an older child better.. ds2 is just 6, still using them, also call them night time pants.

DS1 wears Dry-Nites. They hold plenty. He wore size 6 pull-ups for a very long time, but they started to leak badly, so I moved up to Dry-Nites. (DS1 is almost 7)

DS2 is 3.4 and has also recently started to flood a pull-up, so he's now in Huggies night-time pull-ups, which seem pretty good.
There was a time when DS2 was very reliably dry at night. Moving house seems to have changed that!

btw, supermarkets often do offers on dry nites, 2 for £whatever, they work out similar cost.

Thanks very much everyone, I had no idea the Dry-Nites actually held more than a nappy since the packaging just mentions 'occasional wetness'. I might need to move into these soon then, as DS is making the pull-ups pretty wet and we do have the odd leak.

Was passing a Tesco Metro today so dashed in and grabbed some Tescos own brand 6 pull-ups today, They actually look huge compared to Pampers size six pull-ups, but then I thought the Pampers were smaller than the Huggies Walkers as well.

Will look out for the Dry-Nites when they're on offer and try them, thanks.
