I'm losing my mind

Hi, I'm really hoping I can get some advice here. DD is 6 years old and has only been dry twice in her life during the night. Now I'm not bothered about that.

My issue is we've been using a bedwetting alarm for the past 4 nights and the last 2 nights she's purposely weed herself. She did it last night and I know she was awake because she was sat up when I rolled over and when she saw me she threw herself down pretending to be asleep.

She told me this morning that she does it because she likes feeling wet. I've told her she can be wet if she wants but it'll start causing issues like being sore and possibly a burning sensation and she said she doesn't want that but I'm at a loss. She knows where the toilet is, she has lights on so she's not in the dark and I have a potty next to my bed but she prefers to just sleep in wetness. Any advice??

Why not just keep her in pull-ups? Lots of kids aren't dry at night at 6. The NHS doesn't usually consider it worth treating until at least 7. She won't be sleeping in pull-ups or wetting the bed when she's 18. Put a pull-up on and let everyone get good night's sleep.

I agree with pull ups. Stop making a fuss and just leave her to it. She can change her own pulls ups. Mention it to GP just to log it, but expect no answers or interest. Any ND suspicions? Any new siblings or anything that would make her want attention?

No nothing new. I do have a referral to urology but that was ages ago and still waiting for an appointment. I've been doing underwear inside the pull up so I'm not having yo wash bedding constantly. I don't mind washing underwear but it does get frustrating when she knows she needs to go and doesn't
