I keep reading that night time dryness is hormonal, but starting to have doubts.
My DS is 4 and has zero issues during the day but he still wears a nappy at night and we haven't attempted to remove it yet. The problem is that he sleeps very soundly for about 11 hours and he pees A LOT overnight. Quite often he soaks right through his size 7 nappy and his pyjamas are wet in the morning. We are trying to be more consistent about making him pee immediately before bed (he goes to the toilet for a poo before bath time/story time but we are trying to make sure he goes a second time) but even then he is soaking his nappy every night. I don't think he drinks that much water in the evenings, usually just a small glass with dinner.
When is it a problem? Is there anything I need to be doing to get him to be dry at night, or is it one of those things we have no control over?
His younger sister (2.5) is potty training at the moment, and sometimes she wakes up completely dry, which is making me wonder.
