Travel potty for tall toddlers?

My DD is 30 months and very tall for her age. She has the OK Baby Pasha and fisher price 3 in 1 potty for home which suits her well as they are quite high.

We then bought the My Carry Potty for going out but she doesn't get on with it at all. I think it's too small and low for her.

Any suggestions for a travel potty suited to taller / larger kids? Thanks.

My son trained quite late, age 4, and he's tall. We didn't really need a travel potty, he just used toilets. Have you tried her on the toilet yet?

No I haven't. Would you recommend a seat reducer then instead of potty?

We used to use the porta potty and although it’s quite low even I managed to use it as an adult when camping! I’m sure it would be doable for a 2-year old.

Yes, you could try a seat reducer (and step stool if she needs it) at home first and once she's confident just take the seat reducer out with you. Once they can hold it for a few minutes and are happy to sit on the toilet you don't really need a potty any more.

You can get foldable seat reducers which work really well for out and about. Much better than carrying around a travel potty. They’ll go in your bag.

Ok I think I'll look into this!

Although pretty huge so you'd need a big bag if you just want it for going out to the shops etc!

I think I wanted my daughter to have some independence, and didn't quite trust her to use steps on her own but she can use the potty on her own.
