4 year old becoming dry at night - affecting sleep

HELP

My amazing sleeping 4 year old has started waking at 5 am every morning ( always been 7.30-6.30) Which means because they go to sleep at around 7.30 ( after usual toddler bed time faffing) they have not had enough sleep all week. This has massively affected said toddlers mood ( and ours! ) I need to sort it out

The reason I've linked it to night dryness is it started early this week with 3 dry nights in a row, so I left pull up off. Then woke up at 11 pm and soaked the bed and wakes at 5 am really irritable and won't go back to sleep. This has now continued all week. Went back into pull up last night and no change sat up sobbing at 11 and pull up was wet, not awake fully though, then awake at 5 am again this morning. I've tried lifting but they tend to wee anything from 9pm - 11 pm and are very irritable when woken. They are shattered no idea what to do 🤷🏼‍♀️ any advice gratefully received

You shouldn’t remove nighttime nappies until you’ve had at least 2 weeks of consistent dry nappies.

It’s a hormone, it can’t be trained. So if it isn’t happening, put the pull up back on and wait.

Thank you

Yea I know. Pull up back on. My question is more can I help the sleep disturbance at all as it's causing such a change in behaviour where they so tired.
Waking up whether pull up is on or not........I'm guessing it's a phase and we've got to go through it 😬

Hmm interesting one. My dd 4 )in reception) still in night nappies, came home last week said she didn't want to wear them anymore.

She wet the bed first night, second night woke up needing the loo at 2am, third night wet the bed, fourth night slept through and dry all night, 5th night wet the bed twice.

She is adamant she doesn't want to go back to nappies.

I have no idea what to do.
