Bed sharing and getting out of night nappies

Hi
LO has been dry in the days for a few months now but I don't know how to tackle the nights. Her night nappies are still HEAVY and she usually comes into our bed at some point.
Those of you who bed share, how do you do it??? Obviously there are going to be wet beds at first and I just don't want it on my bed!

Waterproof mattress protector?

This sort isn’t too sweaty. You can add a normal mattress protector on top

You can't 'train' night dryness in the same way as bedtime dryness. If she is having a wee before bed and her night nappies are still wet overnight most nights then she isn't ready to go nappy free.

Basically just keep going as you are until her nappies are dry overnight pretty much every night. It will happen by itself, but can happen much later than daytime dryness. There shouldn't be any/much bed wetting at all if you don't take the nappes away too early.

What age is she?
I waited until mine had dry nappies before taking them away

My ds wasn't dry at night until at least 5 at night.

You keep them in pull ups until they’ve had at least a week of being fully dry. Maybe even a month to be on the safe side if it’s your bed. It’s hormonal so you can’t train it, the average age is 4, but generally the GP won’t be interested until 7 because anything up to that point is still considered normal.

Good to know that she should be dry before we do it. Thank you everyone.

Well saying that my dd never got totally dry nappies at night. But by almost 6 she didn't want to wear them anymore. To my surprise she was dry pretty quick. I wouldn't have done it with a young child like age 3.

My older child had dry nappy at night age 2 and successfully dry at night before age 3.
