HELP - when to quit potty training?

Day 5 of potty training my 2.8 year old
Some wee in potty when prompted but never on her own accord, only when made to sit. At least 50% of them are on the floor. We spent 4 full days at home and then today she returned to nursery but has come home and had 4 accidents. Only one accident at nursery though which is strange! I feel like I'm on edge all the time, I ask if she needs a wee and she says no then wets herself 1 minute later, feeling very discouraged at this point. Don't want to waste 5 days progress but is there even any progress?!

Do I quit and wait until she's 3? Or is that confusing given we've spent 5 days training?

I feel like everyone around me cracks it and I always hear "it takes 3 days" but this is not the case here clearly.

Oh and we've done rewards, stickers, lots of praise, sitting in potty every half hour etc. when to admit defeat?! Or am I just prolonging it to face more wee in the floor in 4 months?

Honestly if they’re not starting to “get it” (ie you’re seeing longer and longer between accidents) by day 2 or 3, knock it on the head and try again in a few weeks.

There will be accidents whenever you try, but after 4 days at home and she’s still missing the potty, she maybe just needs another little while to get used to the idea.
