I am at a loss with what to do here so any suggestions would be great.
DD has been in pants and somewhat dry for the past 7 months with the occasional accident at the beginning as to be expected. We've never had an issue with poos and she will always do these on the toilet.
For the past few weeks (probably around 6) she has been having anywhere between 1 and 4 changes a day from wee accidents, they aren't full blown accidents and she is able to stop herself and get to the potty to finish but we're still having to change pants and leggings because they are wet.
I've tried reminding/asking her to sit on the potty every 30 mins or so but she is very independent and will point blank refuse. I've tried rewards like at the start and also getting her to clean up and change herself after she's had an accident (I thought that maybe she's just counting on the fact that I'll do it quickly then she'll get to go and play again) but literally nothing seems to be having an effect.
She has recently started nursery but this has been happening for weeks before this and nothing had changed at the time.
I know regression can be normal at this age but I just feel like we're stuck here!

My daughter was like this and eventually I linked it to being a bit constipated. On days she had a soft poo she didn’t have the accidents/dribbles but did on the days she hadn’t. It wasn’t bad constipation but I think the pressure of a full bowel was putting pressure on her bowel making it slightly harder to control so soon after toilet training. She had a course of movicol and the problem went away.

Thanks for your reply @Lovemyjobbutstruggling
It ended up we just carried on doing what we were doing and within a couple of weeks the accidents stopped, she now rarely has an accident and I can confidently leave the house without a bag full of clothes. I think it was mainly to do with anxieties around starting nursery because the accidents stopping coincided with her settling in there, she will still have the occasional accident at nursery but only when she's really engrossed in an activity.
