Not sure if this is the right section as not exactly potty training but, wasn't sure which other one to post in.

So my son is nearly 2 and for a while now he doesn't want us to go near him while hes doing a poo. He will usually go into a corner somewhere and if I try to go near him or ask if hes okay, he will put his hand up at me and say no so, I leave him be. Problem is, I can see that he is stopping himself going properly, he tenses up and most of the time there is only the smallest bit when I change his nappy.

Bit of background incase it makes a difference-
We started to put him on the toilet for poos from around 7 months as I could tell when he was going and we used reusable nappies so less faff with those. He got on really well with it and now will go for a wee most of the time that we put him on it. We've never done the potty as he didn't get on with it. He does a wee on the toilet in the morning and evening. Before this was happening with the 'no' and hand up, I was also taking him there for poos too and he would go. But, since this has started I've just tried to leave him alone to see if he can fully go. I have managed a few times to get him on to toilet and he has done a full poo but a lot of the time would just stop himself. I'm just a bit worried that hes never full going for a poo. I'm pretty certain hes not constipated.

Sorry, that ended up being really long. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I feel like he could be ready to do proper toilet training but I almost dont have the time with work etc.. How did other people do it? Is it too young? I know its each child is different. Thanks if you got this far.
