3 year old and accidents

Hi
My daughter turned 3 in April I started potty training in July last year at around 2years 2 months after she showed interest in the potty. I took a relaxed approach showing her books and videos and leaving her nappy off and potty available as well as regularly sitting her on the potty.
In the beginning during trips out on public transport or long car journeys I put a pull up over knickers so she knew when she was eet. But after our holiday in October it was exclusively knickers.
She became mostly dry at home around November last year with odd accident (only daytime) but nursery has been difficult she goes through phases of dry and then lots of accidents sometimes 4 a day.

During lockdown when I was still working and my husband was wfh and looking after her she had more accidents as I think she wasn't getting the attention from him she.is used to as on my days off she was fine.

Today was her first day back at nursery and she used all her spares again. She knows to take herself and will tell us and her carers she needs a wee or poo. It seems she leaves it too late or is too engrossed in playing.

I've tried everything over months, bribery, charts, getting her to sort her own wet clothes and get dry ones. I've talked to her and she fully understands. I even offered (threatened) pull ups again but she insists she's a big girl

I'm at a loss what I'm to do further or what I'm doing wrong

Tonight we've left it that if she has zero accidents tomorrow she gets a toy I've bought (I've shown her) and put away she has said she will do them all in the toilet

My son has been exactly the same. He potty trained last October and took to it very well. He always told us when he needed to go and had few accidents.

I've been WFH with him since March and things have got progressively worse. I also put it down to watching tv and him being too engrossed then leaving it too late. He's pretty stubborn so even when he's dancing around to hold it in he will say he doesn't need to go. We did the charts etc but nothing really helped.

We had him tested for a UTI in case this was the problem so worth ruling that out but it wasn't for him so we have reverted to telling him when to go at certain times in the day. Feels like a step back as we didn't do this even at the start but we've had very few since accidents doing this. I'm hoping once routine gets back to normal he'll be able to prompt himself again. It's his first day back at nursery today so will see how he does. I've told him he only has 2 spare pairs of pants (he has more) so needs to make sure he doesn't have accidents so he doesn't run out. Good luck!

Well she had 2 yesterday quite late on so a bit better. She came out saying she wanted zero so she's well aware of what she needs to do and consequences.

On a good note her pull up was dry this morning but I'm not getting ahead of myself
