Dropping night nappies?

My dd is 4.3 and been dry during the day since before 3 but still wears pull ups for bed. Her nappy is always wet on a morning but I'm not sure if she's doing that while she's awake. She's gotten up and gone for a wee a couple of times but only while she's still been awake.
Any advice for me? Do I wait till the nappies are coming up dry or do I give it a go while the weather is nice enough to dry sheets outside?

Give it a go she's probably wetting the pull ups because their on. Reduce her liquids before bed and get her to use the toilet just before she goes go sleep

We removed night nappies at the start and in 4 weeks he's had 3 night time accidents.

He's woken up a couple of times at about 4am and asked for a wee.

Maybe she's still peeing because she's still got a nappy on... I don't know. People said to leave one on over night for DS but we went rogue!

maybe she's still peeing because she's still got a nappy on that's what I was thinking. I'll buy some waterproof sheets and give it a go.

Following out of interest, very similar situation. Our DD is 4.4 and still in pullups at night (been day dry since before 3 with only three or four accidents total).

She says she doesn't wake up when she does it, she just wakes up with a wet pullup! We get her to go just before we put the pullup on at night, although she still likes a cup of milk before bed and has a water bottle if she gets thirsty in the night.

We just used waterproof sheets and stopped night nappies the day we started toilet training, the only accidents we had were from DC1 while DC2 was nappy training. No idea why really as DC1 had been dry a year with no night accidents at point, but it was just a couple of times.

Night dryness isn't something you can train. It's down to hormones. I would wait until the pull ups are dry.

I think with night times, they are ready when their body is ready and starts making the chemical needed to stay dry. DS1 was dry at night within a couple of weeks of being dry in the day (just turned 3yo). DS2 was perfectly dry and out of nappies in the day for about a year before he ever woke up with a dry pull up. He was definitely weeing in his sleep without waking, it wasn't that he did it purely because he knew he could in a pull up. He was 4.5 and in reception when we stopped pull ups at night, they were suddenly dry when he woke up so I just stopped and reminded him to go for a wee asap when he woke up. Very few accidents ever since.

I know it's not something you can train but I'm thinking she might be doing it because she knows she has a nappy on.

Following with interest. DD2 has just turned 4 and is still wet through the night. I'm planning on trying to get her out of her pull-ups over the summer holidays if I can. Asda do waterproof sheets for £4 so I'm going to order a couple and see how she goes.

Following with interest.

DS1 is 5 and still in pull ups at night,we've tried to get him out of them but he just ended up with a soaking wet bed Sad He tends to wet around 4 in the morning, DH forgot to take it off when he got up on the weekend and he promptly weed in it while awake Angry each child's different though
