My dd is four and has been dry since about two and a half. In January she started wetting herself during the day, enough to need to change pants and leggings.

She has been investigated by the doctor for uti, diabetes etc. She has seen a specialist health visitor who diagnosed possible hyperactive bladder and immature nerves. Her advice was to have a regular toilet routine, which she has. Drink lots of water, which she does, and eventually she will grow out of it.

She currently has between one and eight accidents a day with no pattern, or seemingly no rhyme or reason. They happen when she is at home, and out.

She is mainly dry at night and wet in the morning as she wakes up.

When she has an accident we don't make any fuss. She changes herself, goes to the toilet and puts the wet stuff in the washing machine.

No other issues.

Any advice on how to stop the accidents?

My DS is 4 next month and has been doing a poo in his pants all of a sudden.
Like you I'm at a loss. He's fine with wees though.
I'm hoping someone will come and give you some advice that I can borrow Grin

Is it stress, change of routine, new circumstances, an illness/virus/cold? All of these can cause regression. Is everything okay at home / nursery?
