Hi,
I've searched the internet for an answer to my question but to no avail.

DD is 2 1/2. Has been potty trained day time for around 5 months and night time for just over 4 months. We had a few day time accidents in the begining (naturally) but never a night time accident. We have a good bed time routine. She's always been a good sleeper too. Sometimes waking in the night but easily settled again.

The past 2 weeks have driven my partner and I around the bend. She wakes every night between 12 - 1am. We put her back to bed as we always have done but she doesn't settle. She's up for 2-4 hours every single night. We have perservered for almost 2 weeks with this method. Taking it in turns with the night shifts.
This week she has been saying she needs a wee. We always take her to the toilet and then put her back to bed, even though she doesn't drink late and we always take her to the loo before bed time. She's happy to go back n to her own bed until she realises that we aren't staying with her and then the hysterical crying begins. She's taken things to a whole new level this past few days...... saying she needs a wee, we take her, she cries going back to bed, she needs another wee! Sorry if this is too much info but She is forcing a little bit of wee out and weeing on her floor. I think this is just for attention as she has never done this before, not even when we were training. We've gone through 5 pairs of pants tonight.

Does anyone have any advise?? I'm ready to bang my head against the walls!!!!

Yes think I remember going through something similar. My dd just didn't want to be left alone, lots of crying and need a wee.

Btw, wow on getting your dd potty trained by 2.5! My dd was probably 3 ish going through the not wanting to be left alone.

I tried lots of things, sometimes just staying till she fell asleep. Star charts seemed to work for awhile as did having a chat about best part of the day. Do you know I might even be tempted to put her back in a nappy at night! Don't know if that's helpful long term I guess. Hope you work things out.
