Can anyone recommend a comfy potty?

When I was potty training DS1 a couple of years ago, he refused to use the potty I bought (a Mothercare Thomas the Tank Engine one) because he said it hurt (and he did get a mark on his back from the sticking up bit at the back, just from trying it a few times). At the time, I thought he was being fussy (he's a bit of a sensitive little soul 
). However, I've just got it out again for DS2 (aged 2), and although he's quite keen to have a go, he looks wildly uncomfortable as soon as he sits down, and gets straight up looking a bit stressed. It also looks a bit small - but I don't know, maybe he's got a big bum!! But when he sits down, his willy is basically over the top of the front of it - we'd have to do a fair amount of wiggling about to get him 'in' it, I think. So - are all potties like this, or have I just got a crap one? DS1 went straight onto a padded loo seat (because of his terribly sensitive rear end, don't ya know), so I've never really had dealings with potties. Can anyone advise?

We are using a Hoppop donut, and I have to say it looks very comfy.

Ducky potty does the trick in our house and bonus is it fucking quacks when you go! Has removable splash guard too

Wow, spottybag, that's a serious piece of kit. Never heard of the Hoppop or Ducky ones - will check them out. Not sure about the fuckingquacking, though .

The fucking quacking is a bit mad but it was the first one that got my DD to actually agree to sit on it and have a go.

We bought 2 Tippi toes potties from Amazon for about 4quid each. Our DS is a big tall boy and he sits quite comfortably on these as they are nice and big. I'm pretty sure he also sits on it back to front but it means all his bits stay nicely inside and we've had no problems with wee escaping over the front.
