Nap time

DD is 2.5, we took her out of nappies about 3 weeks ago and haven't had any accidents. I do still put a nappy on her for her daytime nap and at night.

I think she should keep her pants on for nap time where as DH says nappy.

Should she be out of nappies for her snooze too, or does it come later as with night training?

She naps for anything from an hour and a half to three hours.

Bloody hell she still naps for that long!?! Envy
I make DD (2.2) have a wee before a nap and then just leave her with knickers on. She hasn't had any accidents and she's only been out of nappies for a week.

We're in the south of France, most people nap for an hour or two!

Ah, that makes more sense!

I'm glad you posted this, OP, I was wondering about that too. I haven't started with my 2.8yo DS yet but he still naps for 1.5 - 3hrs too!

And we're in England Grin

DH says it's not so much about her wetting the bed, but more the fact that she won't settle down for her nap without a nappy because she keeps using the potty as an excuse to get up.

You could try a nappy for naps, or an inco pad on the bed. Not much help if she's using the potty as an excuse tho... Is she starting to want to drop the nap? Mine didn't necessarily nap every day at that age/

Try it and see what happens. You can always go back to nappys for snooze time
