Nappy removal at night - HELP

DS (2.4yo) is potty training during the day but not at night. He is an heavy wetter at night time.

I have tried Huggies Pullups at night but they leaks, so last time I put him in Pampers and had the lovely surprise this morning to find that he had removed the said Pampers and pooed in his pjs.

DH is suggesting cable ties to hold the nappies Grin

Any suggestion on what to do?

Have you considered putting pants over the nappy - might just slow him down. Not sure if you can get popppered vests on the high street for that age but again might slow him down. My friend discovered that her DD1 had 'helped' DD2 take off her nappy (containining poo) and then they had played together quite oblivious to the mess! My friend thought she was having a lovely Sunday morning lie in whilst her two DD played nicely together.

Cloth wrap over the top, back to front?

Will back to front keep the absorbancy (sp)? If so, I'll try this

This might sound extreme but my DD has started this and I have resorted to taping her nappies on at night. She calls it her belt!
