Are they worth it or should we just go straight to proper pants?

I don't think I know anyone who has used them so I'm guessing not?

We've never used them. I can see maybe if you have loads of white carpets and wanting a softer introduction they might have a purpose, but sooner or later you will need to bite the bullet. I wouldn't sell them as big boy/girl pants though, as that introduction is one of the biggest selling points of potty training for a toddler. Maybe the delivery man brought the wrong nappies. Personally though I would go cold turkey.

Thank-you, just what I thought.

Pull-up type training pants are not really any different to nappies as they are absorbent. The waterproof outer/cloth inner sort will hold a small dribble but will leak if a full wee, and the rest are really just to catch a dribble.

You will get accidents on your carpets and upholstery what ever you do, so I think introducing 'big girls/boys pants' should be ordinary thin cloth kids pants, so that they know there is nothing there to catch an accident. Otherwise there can be confusion 'am I wearing pull-ups or not?' by which time they wet themselves.

Thank-you again.

Right. Now to let DP know. (He spotted them a while ago and has had them in his mind ever since. Think he thought it would be an easy optionWink)
