Wet knickers every day, end of my tether!

I am in despair over DD1s habit of weeing in her knickers several times a day. She will be 4 next month and has been potty trained well over a year but she still wets her knickers at least once a day but usually a lot more. I have tried everything I can think of, ignoring it (did this for months with no luck), bribery, using sanctions if she wets her knickers, etc. Nothing works! I am pretty sure it is not a medical condition as she does it more when shes being naughty (will actually wet herself in front of me after I've asked her to use the toilet) and she also does it more when she's tired. No chance of her being dry at night yet either but tbh that's the least of my worries right now. DS was so easy to potty train and after the first fortnight he never had an accident again! Unusual I know but I'm at a complete loss as to how to deal with this. Please, please someone help me!!!

DS1 has irritable bladder. Doc said you can tell as he is "bursting" or starts to wet himself but only small quantity comes out. You can look online to see what full bladder at that age should be.

Have you tried sitting down with your lo and talking to her about it?
Maybe try and find out how she feels about going on the toilet ? how she feels when shes wet herself? what she thinks will happen when she west herself ?ie will she think you will be angry or you will ignore it.
Have you tried going back to basics with her potty training? Maybe just set a timer for every 2 hrs or so and actually take her to the toilet instead of asking her, then if she does anything on the toilet make a song and dance about it by saying shes a big girl now.
Does she have underwear with her fav charactor on the front ?if not you could both go out shopping especially and pick some, then explain that say if she likes cinderella ,"cinderella wouldnt like to have wee all over her so lets wee in the toilet instead"
Has anything changed recently at home or around lo's environment?
sometimes even the littlest of things can set them back with potty training.
i hope you dont think im preaching or trying to tell you what to do here

i wish you good luck
hugs xx

My daughter was exactly like this, she is now 4.6 and has only stopped the accidents since she began reception class at school. She only went dry a few weeks ago at night actually. I think a lot of it was due to having fun playing, and going to the toilet being too inconvenient for her to stop, and she just held on and on and on and then oops! I used to just take her to the loo often, especially if she started dancing on the spot but claiming she didn't need the loo Hmm It is very wearing but I guess being around her peers all the time in school presumably helped far more than anything I tried.
