Ok so I know this isn't exactly potty training, but what do you call your children's bits?! My DS (3.10) has just noticed his baby sister does not have a "pee-pee" as he calls it, but am unsure really what to call his sisters bits as "front bottom" to me is just a bit weird!
RuthChan · 05/12/2011 19:16
We call DS's his willy and DD's her wee wee.
Nevercan · 05/12/2011 21:29
Same here
tanfastic · 05/12/2011 21:30
Winky and twinkle. No idea why
CBear6 · 01/01/2012 23:08
DS (2yo) named his own bits "diddle" so that's what we call his, when he saw DD (4mo) with no nappy on he pointed at her bits and called them her "button" so now and forevermore in our house they are known as diddle and button.
Santasjollys · 01/01/2012 23:10
Todgy and tuppence, no idea why or where these names came from, but that's what they are here.
mrsrupertpenryjones · 02/01/2012 00:35
willy and girly bits here!
NannyPlumIsMyMum · 02/01/2012 00:37
Willy and 'bits'.
wonkylegs · 02/01/2012 00:38
DS calls his a winky and has noticed that 'mummy's got 2 bottoms' otherwise it's not really come up in conversation
SucksToBeMe · 02/01/2012 01:20
My DS calls his "my pikey pikey"
MartyrStewart · 02/01/2012 01:23
DS has a willy, DD has a vulva. Although she pronounces it 'roller'. Which is an improvement on her previous pronunciation 'growler'
Newtothisstuff · 02/01/2012 03:37
My DD decided to call hers a poo I have no idea why.. It's just kinda stuck but when I was little it was a twinkle and winkle
zebedeethezebra · 03/01/2012 17:09
Goolies and willy
Jokat · 06/01/2012 16:52
Hi, I asked this question a little while ago under Parenting and it turned into quite a thread! The majority of people seem to call it willy and vulva/bits/privates.
StarlightMcKenzie · 06/01/2012 16:57
Willy and Vulva.
We tried getting out of the vulva but dd was distraught that she didn't have a willy so we told her she had a vulva, which she explained in detail to Pepper Pig at Pepper Pig's World.
MummyNic · 08/01/2012 03:32
Fireman Sam has a willy, Penny has a Foo Foo.
But, from birth, I have called my son's willy his "winky-woo" but I try not to as I think he'll be picked on at school if he calls it that
Nevercan · 08/01/2012 13:07
Willy and wee wee
ShushBaby · 09/01/2012 12:47
Vagina. I heard that it is a good idea to use proper names so that if a child is in pain or someone has interfered with them, they will be able to articulate to any adult (eg teacher, doctor) what is going on. For example, if they were trying to tell a teacher something and referred to it as, say, 'my flower', it might not be obvious what they were talking about.
Pretty cringey at first but now it feels natural.
Loobyloo1902 · 10/01/2012 23:15
Cringe... My DD's bits are her Lollapalloza
and that's all my fault for not being able to say the V-word
