dry at night - so take nappies away?

I'm pretty sure this is a silly question but... ever since DD potty trained at about 2y2m she has been dry at night. We've probably had about 10 wet nappies in the past 8 months. So should I put her to bed without a nappy on? Or should I wait a little longer - she's now 2y9m.

I stopped mine wearing a nappy at night when they went dry for a month. Was so happy that I didn't have to buy nappies any more.

Have the nappy ready to put on, and whilst having fun, just "forget" to put it on. See if she mentions it... no big deal if she does. If she doesn't, still have them available but out of sight. Just might be a thing of the past.

Thanks for the responses! Okay, I will give it a bash tonight. I think we would have stopped a long time back if we had been buying them! We use cloth at night because she is so rarely wet.

We gave our last 2 nappies to the lady over the road who had run out for her dc, I went to get our daughter ready for bed and found an empty packet, so never bought any more!

ds1 was like that and we had very few accidents (was 2.10).
I put him in pants after his bath. As he ate his supper, he looked at me and said "he's wearing a nappy" and I said "no, he's wearing pants". He seemed quite pleased...
ds2 is another story...(prepares to change bed again this morning...)

Do make sure you've got fool-proof protection on the mattress though, because it would be unusual for her never to have an accident ever again.
