DD is 2.5 years and we started potty training at October half term - she is ok most of the time - went to stay with grandma and had 5 accidents, including a poo one and for 10 days afterwards we also had poo accidents, but think coming through that now - she is fine with us and at pre-school but doesnt seem to ask to go etc when elsewhere...

anyway pull ups over night have been dry pretty much from the start but have kept putting them on at night and naps... the last 2 days she has been weeing and just done a poo when pull up put on (always when she is awake, ie just put pull up on or just woken up) tells us she has done it too! - do u think i just need to get rid of the pull up and risk putting her to bed without?? can i miss the boat if i keep her in them?

It does sound a bit like deliberate weeing. YOu could promise a smartie for each clean and dry nappy in the morning. That'd motivate her to do her best.

At 2.5 I don't think I would worry aboutit at the moment tbh. Children vary massively about being dry at night. You could just remind her that the toilet is the place to do her wees and poos. (The cry of'wees and poos before bed' rang loudly round our house for a couple of years)
I got a bit stressed about potty training with dd1 and she used to wee on the floor to get my attention (during a tantrum/time out). With dd2 I was much more chilled and the process was much easier.

One was dry at night at 2.5 and the other at 4.6.

She is very little. Many children aren't remotely toilet trained until three years old.

Make sure you get the night nappy off as soon as she wakes. If you think she is being lazy you could always put her in a cloth nappy for nights.

Wet beds are not fun.

I dont think you can "miss a window" for being dry at night.

DS2 has been dry in his pullup for a month. But I just cant face the enevitable wet bed if I take them away in this weather (he's 2.7) so am being a lazy mum for a while longer.

i wouldn't expect her to go dry whilst wearing a nappy - mine only dried when the nappy was removed. though no i also don't think you can 'miss the boat'.
