Is there a comfortable potty out there that anyone recommends?

Ds 2 is ok with the toilet and a padded seat but he hates the potty and it looks uncomfortable. We have 1 loo upstairs in the house so I was thinking of looking for a potty for downstairs that looks a bit like a loo or has a novelty value that might encourage him. Although I don't want to bring anymore big clunky plastic stuff into the house I hate cleaning up puddles. Tips anyone?

We've got a really cheap compact Boots potty (under 3 quid in price) that DS picked for himself. He's very comfortable on it and chooses to sit on it for ages. Perhaps give that a try if you don't need a fancy looking potty?

We did have one of those fancy Summer Infant potty for him when we first started PT but for some reason it just stank (whereas the mothercare thomas toilet padded seat stayed fresh and clean Grin) and then started leaking after a short while. Oh, and also it never contains DS's wee as they all came squirting out.

Wish we just got the boots potty right from the start for downstairs.

Thanks anon, I got your message too late and splashed out on a duck potty from Argos today! Luckily he likes it so far as it was £16!

My niece had a duck potty too a few years ago. Not sure if it's the same one. She loved it too. :)
