What does everyone do with wet or soiled clothes before they go in the wash? I find that they smell if not washed the same day, and don't like putting them straight in the machine because if I'm not doing a wash of the same colour then I have to take them out again. Any ideas??

Rinse them first? Or hand wash just those clothes?

hmm well i always do mixed washes so it's never been an issue, tho i can't say i've noticed a smell if they've had to keep a day or 2 b efore being washed.

if they're soiled i rinse them first tho.

if they're very manky i do tend to chuck them in at 40 degrees tho, so maybe that helps. and i usually line dry so i guess they air well?

When I was potty training, I did a wash every day for this sort of stuff, even if it was a small wash.

We've always got some washing that needs doing so just add it to make a load even if its a small one. Regarding rinsing, I make sure there's no large lumps etc, but then just shove it in the machine.

I'll try rinsing. It was ok when I first started because there was a lot to wash, now its maybe one pair of knickers and trousers a day, if that, and sometimes it can be about 3 days before I have enough for a coloured wash (even a small one)

We must be doing something really wrong as we do a big wash everyday (with or without accident clothes), and there's only the three of us.

I always do a quick rinse setting on washing machine for wet/soiled pants before putting on a 40 deg wash. We hardly ever have soiled pants though so when they are soiled, it's normally diarrhoea which we throw away as it's disgusting cleaning diarrhoea, ugh!

I have a bowl in the utility sink with some dettol and water in it - just chuck stuff in there until ready to wash!
